Bottle Cap Mural #2

It's the last week of school, but I am still trying to finish a few projects. I know I recently posted on the bottle cap murals my students have been creating, and this is our second mural. This one was inspired after Van Gogh's Starry Night. Today three fifth grade classes worked on this mural, and tomorrow, I plan to have a few students finish it up. I will post another picture when it is completely done. I am extremely excited to see how this one turns out.

  2. I started saving bottle caps after seeing your last one. I am amazed. I wish I had thought of something like this. I am going to have my kids next year save them as part of a recycling/art project deal! Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. This is recycling at its best. I've been saving caps for a while now and can't wait to start my own mural.

  13. I am just looking into this idea as I have 1000s of caps. How are the adhered? Are they holding after being installed and touched at you your school?

  14. We used hot glue for our mural, but you can use other adhesives as well.
