Paper Masks, 5th Grade

This is one of my favorite lessons, and I do this with my fifth graders every year. This is a wonderful lesson to teach symmetry. I just LOVE how these turned out.

  2. I'm currently making large symmetrical masks from paper with my 3rd graders. We're using only paper from the HUGE pile of scraps and discards left behind last year. We're using a limited color scheme - warm or cool colors. I agree, masks always come out great!
